Glutathione

The “Master Antioxidant”

Most commonly referred to as the “Master Antioxidant”, Glutathione is a key regulator of the immune system and of detoxification in all cells throughout the body. Glutathione is the main ingredient to properly break down Acetaldehyde, the main reasoning behind all of the symptoms of the “Asian Glow”.

Alpha Lipoic Acid

The “Free Radicals Neutralizer”

Commonly found in broccoli and potatoes, ALA plays a fundamental role in metabolism. The antioxidant properties of Alpha-Lipoic Acid have been reported to increase the activity in the break down of Acetaldehyde. It also helps restore the levels of other ingredients such as Glutathione and Vitamin C, so they can keep on fighting the Glow.

N-Acetyl Cysteine

The “Glutathione Promoter”

NAC is an antioxidant that binds to Acetaldehyde, a toxic byproduct of alcohol metabolism and the main cause of the Flush. NAC helps increase the production of Glutathione to break down the Acetaldehyde.

Vitamin C

The “Metabolism Accelerator”

Also known as Ascorbic Acid, it is known to help speed up the metabolism of alcohol in the liver, and is an extremely strong antioxidant which supports a healthy immune system. Alcohol naturally depletes levels of Vitamin C in your body, so replenishing its levels helps protect you from the Acetaldehyde (cause of the Glow) from Alcohol.

Vitamin B5

The “ALDH2 Accelerator”

Similar to Vitamin C, Vitamin B5 is believed to accelerate the clearance of Acetaldehyde by increasing ALDH activity.

Milk Thistle Extract

Known to protect liver cells from toxic chemicals and drugs. MTE has known antioxidant and anti inflammatory effects.

Holy Basil Extract

Holy Basil is high in antioxidants and helps your body properly detox. Studies have shown that holy basil can protect your body against many toxic chemicals and ease inflammation.
